The BR24 was designed for mainline passenger service by the
German State Railway (DRG). A total of 95 locomotives in this series were
produced from 1926 to 1938. This 2-6-0 locomotive as used extensively on main
and branch lines in Germany and was an exceptional performer.
OS Engines can delivery a perfect replica of this fine German locomotive as a
fully machined kit or ready to run (RTR.) The locomotive is highly detailed and
comes with axle pump, tender pump and ready for coal firing.
A German style Turbo-Generator as well as a single stage pump is available as
options. Standard configuration is 5-inch gauge but can be ordered for 4-3/4
inch gauge at no additional cost.
