The Prototype of this engine was a narrow gauge locomotive built by Orenstein & Koppel in 1913 for the Igasa Railway Company. OS Engines has faithfully reproduced this locomotive. With its open deck, operating controls are easily accessible. There are 2 side water tanks plus a bottom tank located under the main frame. This allows a generous supply of feed water. Aided by an innovative feed water pump, this locomotive will run 2 Kilometers or 1-1/4 miles non-stop with 4 adults. Standard Copper boiler is Coal fired.
