Designed and built in 1830 England by the legendary George Stephenson, this model of the first successful passenger locomotive is now available to the live steam enthusiast. This superb model incorporates all the major features of the original engine, including its wooden -clad multi-tube boiler, with separate water-jacketed firebox. Its authentic Stephenson valve gear and its inclined outside cylinders coupled directly to the driving wheels. Can be ordered in either 4-3/4" or 5" gauge this 1" scale engine is a delight to own.
